Lichens is the son of a notable ] guitarist, which exposed him to the music scene from an early age. He started playing the piano when he was very young. When he was 9 years old, his parents bought him an ] and he commited himself to learn. His father taught him how to work the instrument and he developed his sense for music from there on.

As he continued to perfect his musicianship and songwriting, Lichens moved to ] to pursue his own career. In ] he joined legendary ] ] which exposed him to lots of worldwide touring experience. Unfortunately, in ] he was fired due to musical differences with the other members.

Lichens then moved to ] and had a short stint fronting ] ]. Later, one of his demos caught the attention of ]. He is currently working in the release of his first EP album titled ''Drowning In Blue Sunshine''.
