| My history is as an author (Search Engine Optimization All-in-One for Dummies, 746pg., Wylie), speaker at every major conference (90 of them just in the USA), I have the earliest copyrighted site containing the phrase Search Engine Optimization (1997), and Danny Sullivan and others give me reasonable credit (http://www.seomoz.org/blog/smx-west-2010-man-on-the-street-interviews) for coining and popularizing that important industry term. I receive thousands of searches for my name, and Google reports (quoted search query) 230,000 references for my name. Google suggestions for bruce c shows my name as a suggestion. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
