I do have to say, however, that I was never anything but "calm" in regard to the message Todd left here. What I did feel is this: I get tired of normal-Joe editors such as myself essentially never hearing from administrators until (a) a problem is brought to their attention, and then the one bringing the issue to their attention frequently gets kicked in the teeth through sarcasm or chastisement or blocking, or (b) the administrator comes to your talk page to point out something they perceive you did wrong (even if they were wrong in their perception) and then rub your nose in it. Wouldn't it be nice to see administrators who actually work to thank those of us who give freely of our time in Misplaced Pages instead of just working to berate, chastise, take sarcastic jabs at, and/or fault find? | |||
