'''Lobotomizer''' is the debut album of the Norwegian band Motorpsycho, released in 1991. It is the rawest release in terms of sound and also style (mostly ] and ]) It is by most fans seen as the weakest record the band ever put out. Still, a crowd-favourite is included even here: the lenghty "Hogwash". And the title track and also "Eternity" prove that not everything on this record is loud and noisy.

==Trivia==
*"T.F.C." stands for "True Fine Citizen". It's a song about a double moraled man who is respected in society but molests his children at home.
*The original vinyl edition (limited to 1000 ex) had a gatefold cover with printed lyrics (and psychdelic artwork).
*This is the only album of Motorpsycho (prior to "]") that does not include Håkon Gebhardt on drums.
*"Hogwash" and "Frances" were later recorded in ] style for ]. "Hogwash" then also included some verses of the Lobotomizer title track.
*"Eternity" includes a poem written by ] and some strange effects. (Bent: "Pitched down to Swans territory, and echoed to death")
*They made a promotional video for the song "Grinder".
