Hello, yes you are correct, we have been set a task by the University of Portsmouth to edit small villages in the north. As it is my first time using wikipedia I have been slightly unclear to how it works with copyright laws etc. We have been advised to copyright laws and how they work but until you informed me I wasn't sure the law on images. Would you mind checking whether the recent image I have included ad-hears to the correct laws as i believe with this image it is allowed to be 'shared'.
Apologies for the removal of my name on your article however i think with the change of image i now comply with the regulations

Welcome
Hello, welcome to Misplaced Pages, and thanks for your work on Norton le Moors. I assume you are part of some school or university project working on English villages, is that right? Because I've been seeing a lot of you guys working on similar pages during the last few weeks. While we very much appreciate your efforts, I've also noticed that many of you have had difficulties with uploading images – finding the right licensing, deciding whether it is okay to use a non-free image, and so on. I do a lot of administrative stuff on images here on Misplaced Pages, including image deletions, so I couldn't help but notice. To avoid further difficulties, could I ask you to get me in contact with your teacher or instructor at your school please? I just want to get some advice across to them about these matters, so they can forward it to all of you and people don't have to go through all these difficulties each on their own. Thanks, – Fut.Perf. ☼ 14:13, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
