Its been an absolutely wonderful experience, and I've learned a great deal from an assortment of intelligent people, but I have several ideas that I want to develop into books, which I'll never get around to if I spend my free time editing Misplaced Pages. In such cases, sentiment can easily turn. The sad fact is-as I already noted-it's extremely unlikely he's actually going to be desysoped. It is, by design, very, very hard to get someone's adminship removed. Even if he isn't desysoped this time, should he continue the same behavior in the future, this incident along with Jimbo's reprimand would go a long way in a potential Arbcom case. Retired This user is no longer active on Misplaced Pages.Its time for me to retire this account. Its been an absolutely wonderful experience, and I've learned a great deal from an assortment of intelligent people, but I have several ideas that I want to develop into books, which I'll never get around to if I spend my free time editing Misplaced Pages. To quote David Gilmour, "It isn't to do with animosity or anything like that. It's just ... I've been there, I've done it." Thanks to all the encouraging editors who helped me become a better writer. I'll now apply the skills that I've learned here to my own end. Kudos to those who defend the project; its certainly a worthwhile cause, and we should be proud of our contributions to its development. GabeMc 00:00, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
