'''Didymelaceae''' is a ] of ]. The family has been recognised by a fair number of taxonomists, at least over the past few decades.

The ] of 2003 does not recognise the family as such, the plants involved being included in the family ]. However, APG II does allow the option of segregating this family, as an optional segregate; it is then unplaced as to order and left among the basal lineages of the ].

This represents a slight change from the ], of 1998, which firmly did recognised the family, with the same placement.

The family consists of a single genus only, '']'', with probably two species of evergreen trees, restricted to ] and the ].

Redirect to:

This page is a redirect. The following categories are used to track and monitor this redirect:
  • From a monotypic taxon: This is a redirect from a monotypic plant taxon to its only lower-ranking member. In a biology-related article, when for example a family has only one genus, the family may be a redirect to the genus.
    • Use {{R to monotypic taxon}} when making a redirect to a monotypic taxon from its only member, for example, from a species to the genus of which it is the only member.
  • From a page move: This is a redirect from a page that has been moved (renamed). This page was kept as a redirect to avoid breaking links, both internal and external, that may have been made to the old page name.
  • With history: This is a redirect from a page containing substantive page history. This page is kept as a redirect to preserve its former content and attributions. Please do not remove the tag that generates this text (unless the need to recreate content on this page has been demonstrated), nor delete this page.
    • This template should not be used for redirects having some edit history but no meaningful content in their previous versions, nor for redirects created as a result of a page merge (use {{R from merge}} instead), nor for redirects from a title that forms a historic part of Misplaced Pages (use {{R with old history}} instead).
When appropriate, protection levels are automatically sensed, described and categorized.
