You recently deleted a draft biography page I created for an author, Frank Golding, on the grounds that the sources were largely from the subject himself. I tried to include a substantial amount of source from reputable newspapers and archives, but I would be happy to return to the draft and add more if it could be restored. Finally, if there is any wikipedia guidance on striking a balance for sources for memoirists that would be helpful - the details of the subject's biography are of course sometimes unavoidably best drawn from his own published work because memoir is about the self. Blast from the past...in 2006, you blocked ] for vandalism. As you will see on his log, he was recently blocked again (48 hours) for an edit war between him and myself across multiple articles. I haven't received any warnings myself, but obviously I must admit that, having been involved in the war, I can't be wholly objective. The page in question is ], which is currently protected. If you could find the time to contribute on the talk page regarding what Msoamu's issue is, it would greatly help resolve the dispute. I'm messaging you mainly because you've dealt with the individual before, and as another editor recently said when granting a third opinion, this behavior has gone on for years. This page wasn't a ]. For one thing, the user had made more than 700 edits to mainspace and rather than the "few or no edits outside of user pages" required for U5. For another, what the user had put on the page was just "Hi!", which is not a remotely problematic user page. ::Looking at the user's talk page, it seems that you also unintentionally deleted ] as "making way for a move" even though that page was not a redirect and the page to be moved, ], ''was'' a redirect. I use this website quite a lot and it's very well known it its sector (alexa rank 3,972 global/942 UK and 194,631 likes on Facebook)
I had a look at the notability of other members of this box http://en.wikipedia.org/Template:Digital_distribution_platforms and some of them have only a tiny fraction of the presence.
I have found a few decent independent sources (UK media including BBC) to get started and it will give me good practice in creating articles and fixing the formatting from scratch.

Deletion of User:SdHb

This page wasn't a WP:U5. For one thing, the user had made more than 700 edits to mainspace and rather than the "few or no edits outside of user pages" required for U5. For another, what the user had put on the page was just "Hi!", which is not a remotely problematic user page. Looking at the user's talk page, it seems that you also unintentionally deleted Aminullah Khan as "making way for a move" even though that page was not a redirect and the page to be moved, Draft:Aminullah Khan, was a redirect. As WP:G6 notes, "An administrator who deletes a page that is blocking a move should ensure that the move is completed after deleting it." The person who nominated it really wanted to delete Draft:Aminullah Khan and move the article there (though that would be move warring despite a WP:DRAFTOBJECT).
