Harper Creek athletics are most popular for a thirty six game regular season winning streak in football from 1994-97. In 1999, the Harper Creek football team advanced to the state semi-finals against St. Marys, the furthest any team from Battle Creek has reached since the MHSAA Playoff Expansion to 256 teams.
