== Listing instances in music videos, movies, etc ==

The article “Beats Electronics” is written exceptionally well. I feel as though those who have contributed to the creation of this article have successfully created an effective lead section, incorporated only the relevant and key information, all meanwhile maintaining a neutral tone throughout the entirety of the article. My one and only complaint would be that I found it a bit difficult to follow the large number of key dates, such as investments and subsidiaries. I would suggest to possibly include a timeline to not only further facilitate the understanding of events in chronological order, but to also offer a quick overview of events that readers can quickly scan over. From HP's marketing, their Beats Audio equipped products have some technical (hardware) innovations, though it is unknown if these actually improve the audio. It is also unknown whether these innovations are part of the Beat Audio spec, or if they are HP's own addition to the their implementation of that spec. I haven't been able to find any actual 'spec' for Beats Audio, by the way, so I'm using this term rather presumptuously (it's possible that there isn't one and it's just marketing/business fluff). Notable hardware innovations from HP's Beats Audio page:
"Features:
-
Redesigned headphone jack to reduce
ground noise
-
Discrete amplifier for more power
-
Dedicated audio island to minimize fan
noise interference."<ref>http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/holiday-beats/all-products.html?jumpid=ex_r602_beatsbydre_may2012_beatsaudio</ref>

== Launch Date ==
The launch date on here is listed as 2008, although a pair can be seen in the music video for "You Don't Know" By Eminem et al, which dates to 2006. Although I have no definite conformation that they are Beats, they look identical, down to the logo on the side. This might be worth researching, seeing as they were evidently in some level of production around 2 years before the Misplaced Pages article credits them as being.

::The first ever Beats by Dr. Dre headphones were announced and released to the public in 2008. The pair shown in 2006 would have most likely been an early prototype if the information about the video it appears in is correct. Due to Eminem's very close affiliation with Dr. Dre, he most likely had early access to a pair if that was the case.

I heard a rumour that Dr. Dre has quit his involvement with the company.
