==Article Evaluation==
To all who have come to visit, the article below was posted by my room-mate and is of the same subject matter I tried posting a couple months ago--which caused quite a stir here on Misplaced Pages.
My room-mate and good friend Ezzie has since been blocked from editing (technically me too since we use the same IP Address--so I'm posting it here, and hoping for your thoughts. If you're among the group of Admins or Admin wannabes who have used this site to insult and power trip over other users please don't respond, and please don't post your WikiTags.

== A problem == | |||
Two problems, actually. So: the first problem is that you've got the content of a dleeted article on your Talk page. That's likely to cause trouble. People have been blocked in the past for moving deleted content into User space. The second problem is this: for some reason your only contributions to the project are to vandalise one prominent article and to add uncited critique into another. Now I appen to think that adding critique to Pier 1 is ''good'' - provided we can source it. So why not try again, this time with citations from ] to back the claim? Misplaced Pages is full of iconoclasts who will be pleased to help you add verifiable criticism of Big Bad Corporate America. Sincerely. ] 21:10, 13 May 2006 (UTC)
: Her talke page has been like this for quite a long time, I think that, without question, this comment on her talk page is nothing more than a personal vendetta against the film and its creator. ] 05:59, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
:: Don't listen to him--he just hates my friend, that's all. HE could actually care less if I publish a deleted article on my user page. Him and his minions of Wikipedians have been working day and night to rid the independent film and music world from THEIR Encyclopedia. They don't like indie-films, or underground music bands. Actually, I look at it as not being an article at all, but just some information I've CHOSEN to put up on MY user page. That's all. ] 06:07, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
:::Actually I wouldn't know your friend from a hole in the ground, but we have a policy on civility and personal attacks, which he violated quite spectacularly (along with implied legal threats), leading to his being indefinitely blocked from editing - something I had nothing to do with. It is true that we have a certain resistance on WP to self-promotion (] and ] apply) but it was the outpouring of invective which caused the problem. It has been noted before that people often take it personally when their vanity articles are nominated for deletion, but it really is not personal. We also take rather strongly against users who ] in order to try and give an appearance of support for something. So you might want to choose your friends more carefully. The original problems remain, especially your having deleted content in your user space. I will ask once again, nicely: please remove it. ] 08:04, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
