Interests: History (especially Irish history). politics, religion, globalisation, gay rights, the Australian constitution, Anglo-Irish Relations. Believe it or not, many Irish people **hate** Guinness and are bemused at tourists flocking to Ireland to drink it. I for one think it tastes hideous. Give me Smithwicks or even Carlsberg any day!
