Hi there, Geoff. I'm here to inquire about how to introduce some material to the war of legends wikipedia page. I come here with extensive knowledge of the game (#3 legend world-wide rank) and I wish to convey a warning to prospective players that Jagex is conducting mass-scale criminal activity costing its player base tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. You have undone my change to the page and I wish to know why and how to fix it to get it left on the page. Thanks.

"Please note that Jagex disregards the Lanham Act, international false advertising law, fraud law, and laws pertaining to blackmail, so proceed with caution when purchasing in-game items. For accurate descriptions of what items do, please refer to the war of legends wiki website as the majority of descriptions in-game are incorrect. Also note that the player base is entirely unsure of what exactly a size-able portion of what the items in-game do at all or if they have any function whatsoever in spite of them costing real-world money to obtain, so in such cases, purchase at your own risk." — Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 23:54, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

::My friend, I have to tell you this isn't worth the potential trouble it can cause. My recommendation is just to leave it lie. I hope you read the article on ] I mentioned earlier. You also need to read about ] as a source for references for facts in its articles. That is what correspondence between yourself and the company would be. Misplaced Pages is an encyclopedia, not a crusade. However much you have been wronged, this isn't the place to redress wrongs. If you can find articles published about the subject in edited newspapers, for example the New York Times or a national periodical such as ], just to give two examples, then those might be appropriate sources. But not anecdotes from other players or yourself which you gather. You might try a Google News search, for example. My advice is to take a deep breath (or two), count to 100 and step back from the brink. If you want to take legal action yourself, alone or in in concert with others, then I highly recommend that you consult a lawyer and, if appropriate, seek redress in the courts. ] ] 02:31, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

I have already read the applicable laws; it's clear-cut that the ones jagex has broken are numerous and severe. The risks for me are nonexistent; jagex has already acknowledged on multiple occasions their awareness that they would be at an utter loss in a court case on the matter and pursuing me for libel is something they outright won't do because of this, not to mention that they wouldn't win such a suit. Preferably, I would like to resolve the issue without the trouble of legal intervention, but with the law so overwhelmingly on my side, I am by no means apprehensive of doing so if all else fails. I'm merely trying to help people who may be harmed by their illegal practices. If you are unable to allow me to post the warning for future players, would you be so kind as to delete the page entirely so wikipedia does not deliver individuals to a website where they are likely to ultimately be scammed? — Preceding ] comment added by ] (]) 02:48, 22 November 2013 (UTC)

You undid a revert i made about Nawa city(Syria)
The problem is that following the wiki map http://en.wikipedia.org/Template:Syrian_civil_war_detailed_map Nawa is under SAA control ,while in this http://en.wikipedia.org/Cities_and_towns_during_the_Syrian_civil_war#Maps_of_territorial_control it is labeled as 'contested'.I am talking about the city not the wider area.

There is a clear contradiction. Either change the template or the map and please fix that contradiction. This is what i tried to do.

== Delete Visual History ==

== Question from ] (22:35, 18 December 2024) ==
Geoff,
I have spoken with other students. Visual History is a very serious article. The main question is the translation. It would be a real mistake to delete this article: imagine, if wikipedia was used in the 1930s, you had deleted the Ecole des Annales article, just because the translation was bad? English speaking users of our 💕 must really know about these news researches for a global history of images. So, we feel in fact that we need, with your help and others, to improve the translation in English.

Geoff. I think you should not delete Visual History, because this article explains the general history of all visual matters created by human kind from the Prehistory. It is new. This is a global history for all objects, architectures, countrysides and all images. You cannot call it History of Images or History of Arts or History of Objects. The new aspect : Visual History is THE global history of all visual matters. It is very useful to have it in our 💕. But, of course, you may try to write in a better English.

Actually, Lorne Bill Bentley is a notable resident and currently runs the Leadership department advising the Department of National Defence and the Government of Canada for the past 40 years.
