| I was on your user talk page typing a message just as you added your apology/comment at the ANI. I think that was a really big step to take, and I applaud you for your initiative as it so happens. I may be speaking out of turn, but what I would propose is that you shouldn't feel a need to justify or attempt to justify why it is not an actionable PA. Similarly, to give the best opportunity for the user to let go of his deep grievance about your actions back then, it may also be worth if you avoided blaming his upset reaction for not assessing it further and clarifying sooner. What would remain would be a simple acceptance, apology and note about the mess at the time which you were possibly partially swept up in, and I expect that would be more effective. I think it would help you avoid remaining the subject of this grievance, and if the user is going to be able to contribute positively here, it would allow him to go back to doing that (to the extent possible, provided this IBAN business does not keep causing the problems that it has started to). Astonishingly, they seem to have decided that their best approach is to create another sockpuppet, {{User links|WabbleQuackEgg}}. Note that this new account ] to the unblock discussion on HiLux_duck's talk page, then clumsily ] to make it appear that HiLux_duck had made the edit. Hi! A couple of days ago you blocked HiLux_duck as a sock of MrDavr. Astonishingly, they seem to have decided that their best approach is to create another sockpuppet, WabbleQuackEgg (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). Note that this new account added a comment to the unblock discussion on HiLux_duck's talk page, then clumsily edited the signature to make it appear that HiLux_duck had made the edit.
