"Palestine" in flora distributions
Hi, the now obsolete World Checklist of Selected Plant Families (WCSP) and the replacement Plants of the World Online (PoWO) use the WGSRPD scheme for plant distributions. When you see "Palestine" in such a source, as explained at Category:Flora of Palestine (region), it means Israel, including the Palestinian territories, plus Jordan. So it's wrong to link to Palestine. Two possibilities are to use the ] or the ]. Peter coxhead (talk) 17:20, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- The links were/are to State of Palestine which has now been moved to Palestine and a number of the articles are listing Israel and/or Jordan separately.
