I've encountered a recurring issue where I'm temporarily blocked from editing due to suspected use of an open proxy or VPN. However, I don't use any such tools, and I suspect the issue might stem from dynamic IP allocation by my ISP.

Sometimes multiple people are routed through one addresses or a small range which looks like a proxy, or sometimes proxies/VPNs come and go but if the IP has been reported as a proxy in the past it still looks suspicious years later. If you're asking because you're seeing blicks I've made, most of my IP hard blocks are aimed at spammers; sometimes SEO firms use dozens of accounts on a range to spread spam links so I block the range so that any undetected accounts can't continue spamming. If you're having frequent problems, I can look at granting you ], which would allow you to edit through hard blocks. :To be honest AE is probably the best place as admins there are familiar with the issues (for our sins) and you're likely to get a quicker response. Hi HJ, hate to bug ya, but I'm going to! You recently blocked {{ipvandal|86.160.229.244}}. They recently reverted me without explanation, however they content I removed contained a lot of grammar errors, including what looks to me like pure gibberish. ''Amelia "Amy" Jones (])- the smart girl city of frank elementary school and Ozzy and Leah's 10 year old daughter, greatly her ingénues brainstorming ideas lead her into and out of trouble but in the end Amy is forgiven by both her mom and her dad and always gets what she asks for nicely.'' Hey, I was just wondering how I can add a photo to a wikipage that is marked as copyrighted. For example, I have been trying to add a photo of Michiel Huisman to his wikipage but I can't seem to find any copyright-free images on the internet. I have searched on google pictures with the searched options set to "licenced for free use or share" but there are no photos of him that are licenced with that. What do I have to do to add one? Do I have to buy a picture? Can I take a screenshot and claim it mine? Can I ask for example michiel-huisman.com (which is a fansite) for permission to use one of the photos in their gallery? What do I have to do? It would be nice if you explained it to me like I am an idiot (cuz I kinda am :P). If you can't help please tell me who can, so I can ask them istead.

:{{ping|Sebahed}} There's fair use, but Misplaced Pages policy is quite restrictive on that and non-free photos of living people are almost never allowed. The best thing to do is to ask somebody who owns a photo whether they'd be willing to release it. In simple terms, they'd have to be happy for anyone to use it as long as they give credit and don't try to pass it off as their own.
