== San Simonino di Trento ==

Salve! Dalla tua cronologia si vede che parli l'italiano e sei capace in molti temi storici. Ti va di dare un'occiata a questa pagina:
https://it.wikipedia.org/Discussione:Simonino_di_Trento#Discussione_sulle_modifiche

Hello, 115ash. You may not be aware of it, but ''personal remarks'' about other editors are discouraged on Misplaced Pages; "Comment on content, not on the contributor" is ''']'''. Especially, it's inappropriate to jump in where you're not involved to comment on somebody, as you did . And to call somebody a "traitor to their country" (for commenting on taxes..!) would be pretty offensive hyperbole no matter where you said it. I can't help thinking it expresses a grudge against Alex2006 for reporting you to ANI. But I'm sure you're not following Alex around in order to comment negatively on him personally, because that would be a really poor idea. ] &#124; ] 09:27, 14 May 2015 (UTC).

Hi dear administrator. I need your help. Few users named Jonathan Barrett and Alessandro57 are trying to spoil Luca Pacioli's article. One is of Italian ancestry and the other is probably a Spanish. Hello, 115ash. Today I was checking over an old page in draft space, ], and I realized that it had a lot of the same text that you added to the article ] when you first created it. It appears that you copied some of the sentences from the draft when you made the article. Then while getting ready to leave this message, I noticed that you had created ], which was also copied from a previous draft. This was last year, so likely since then you have figured out that you should move the existing draft to the new title and then make changes to it, rather than making a new page, so that others can see who originally wrote the text. I have merged both pairs of pages together (which you can see if you look at the histories), so all is well. (Confession: I did the same thing when I first joined Misplaced Pages.) == Mistake: "political", not "social" ==

Sir,

There is a mistake in the title of your page: "London School of Economics and Social Science".

You should write "POLITICAL" instead of "Social", since this is the exact name of the LSE.

The URL I am talking about is:

]

However it is not possible to correct it, because this is an automatic "redirect" page.

The point is that Facebook uses this very page for all alumni, therefore displaying a wrong university name on our résumé!

Please see here:

https://www.google.fr/search?q=%22London+School+of+Economics+and+Social+Science%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=sP7VWd2dF6SCwgLdi4rADQ

So could you please correct this "Social Science" page? Thanks!

Hello ....
== May 2015: final warning concerning several problems ==
is there a way for me to contribute directly to the Misplaced Pages site..back-end and front-end problems that I can help take care of?
115ash, I've been concerned to see IPs restoring your edits on a number of Italian-related articles, such as ], ], and ]. For instance, on ], you had written "He is widely acknowledged to be one of the most radical and challenging thinkers of the ]". This was removed as being ] and ]. The IP {{IP|78.149.115.70}} then restored it word for word, and it's also quite striking that both you and the IP use the same kind of (misleading) edit summaries: you just write "sources", the IP just writes "references", ''even though actual, identical, text was inserted both times.'' In other words, I can't believe that wasn't you, and similarly on the other pages. Please log in to edit, and take ownership of your contributions. I'd rather not ] these articles, but if this continues, I'll have no choice. Your account may also be blocked for ]. ] &#124; ] 12:56, 20 May 2015 (UTC).

--] (]) 21:52, 11 November 2017 (UTC)
I also notice you've been placing tags on some articles created by Alessandro57, for instance and . None of those tags asking for better sources in the ''lead sections'' are appropriate, please remove them. Lead sections don't really need sources at all, they're summaries of the articles, and ''the information is sourced further down''. Frankly, Ash, it's hard to avoid the impression that you're following Alessandro around and make trouble for him. We both know why you might possibly want to do that, compare my comment above, and it's completely unacceptable. No editor should have to put up with harassment and pinpricks. I'm a little tired of warning you; I'll block you from editing next time, and it'll be a longer block. ] &#124; ] 12:56, 20 May 2015 (UTC).
:], it is clear that you're not acting as an admin. ARe you sure that my edits are ]? Can't you see that all of them contain reliable sources? Have you clicked on them? Is it me or Alessandro to make trouble? Have you
looked Why Alessandro are not removing stuff like (which do not include any source at all), , , ] etc. Isn't Maria Gaetana Agnesi regarded to be one of the most influential female mathematicians? , why didn't Alessandro remove that edit (now someone removed the source)? It is obvious that he has some other issues with me. Those actually are not peacock terms at all, as you can see, none removed them except Alessandro. He is just reverting my edits for some other reasons. Please reply to me.--<span style="border:2px solid black;font-size:115%;background:blue">]</span>] 09:22, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

TechXcell (talk) 05:56, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

Hello @TechXcell! Sorry for not having responded earlier. Nevertheless, you can edit or delete the unrelated contents and links on your own. It isn't really required to mark them for review by reviewers or skilled contributors. If you have any difficulty, let me know or you might ask help here. I also suggest you to create your own userpage. --115ash 08:01, 18 September 2014 (UTC)

San Simonino di Trento

Salve!

Thanks and I need help.

Hi, I'm not used to this, and so I appreciate any help you could give me. An editor indicated that my new citations on the Andrew R. Heinze page were messed up. I'm not sure what is wrong with them, but it's probably something for sure. Maybe I should have answered the person who flagged them, but I don't know if that's the way I should do it (and I don't know how to do that anyway). I DID read all about how to do all this stuff, but it seems so mysterious, I couldn't for the life of me figure it out. Thanks so much.EastDimeBoxFrank (talk) 08:46, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

Hello @EastDimeBoxFrank. Most of your references were independent sources. Please read --> WP:RELY. I recommend you to create a new section to Talk:Andrew R. Heinze, so the problems may be resolved. --115ash 14:57, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
Hi (I couldn't figure out how to put your name in here), Thanks for your comment. I just did as you suggested and created a new section on the Andrew R Heinze talk page. As I said on that new talk section, I feel bad about messing up the Andrew R Heinze Wiki article because it didn't have flags on it before I added the new citations. An article with flags on it looks bad. (I guess it's true, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.") In any event, now I want to make it good. So... can I take my mistakes one by one (on that talk page) and correct each one? You said that most of my references were independent sources... that's good, right? EastDimeBoxFrank (talk) 19:22, 20 September 2014 (UTC)
Right now I am improving a bunch of the sources on Andrew R. Heinze... including sources that came from other people. They were probably good once, but when I looked, they were dead. EastDimeBoxFrank (talk) 22:08, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Improvement of Andrew R. Heinze article sources.

Dear 115ash, Could we move our conversation about improving the Andrew R. Heinze sources to the article talkpage? That way I won't miss anything. I just found out that would be a helpful thing for me to do. EastDimeBoxFrank (talk) 23:04, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Need advice about uploaded photo

Hello, 115ash,

I need help in getting a photo I have already uploaded into Misplaced Pages Commons to show up on a Misplaced Pages page.

The page is for Leif Erland Andersson, planetary astronomer. It may be only because I have not yet been registered for ten days.

Thanks, Antynome112233 (talk) 17:43, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi @Antynome112233, as Ip 62.107.222.74 said, you forgot ".jpg" and "File". However, it wasn't enough. That article contains a lot of mistakes, and it must include the infobox. --115ash 09:14, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi 115ash

Thanks for the welcome !- I set up a complete new page about the story of a church ( all facts) and have been deleted for advertising, I have enquired of the person that deleted the page so I can review and correct, bit harsh as this is my very first go at Wiki and I cant see how the history of Church is advertising ! but perhaps this is the process to go through to learn how it all works but thanks to you for the welcome! Leonardo da Vinci

Yeah, that works. I have. Been away for a couple of months, in the process of organising a remove to the other side of the planet. My library is at present somewhere on the high seas. I approach Misplaced Pages with a sense of trepidation after an absence. Leonardo da Vinci is a particular target. Hello @Lufiona14. That article is better than the previous one, it contains several reliable sources. I think you could create it directly. However, something need to be improved. As regards this "Jay Valgora", it had to be created separately. I don't know why you have submitted it alongside "STUDIO V Architecture". 115ash 15:41, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi 115ash -- Hm I actually only intended to create STUDIO V Architecture (Not the Jay Valgora) at this time, so posting only STUDIO V would be great. Could you tell me how to create it directly? Rewriting History

Sir, I am a war veteran cavalry officer, wounded and decorated for valour in war of which I have fought two, and have been actively involved in counter insurgency operations. I left service due to injuries sustained both during war and peace. I commanded an Armoured Regiment and resigned my commission. Part of the reason was the blatant way history was twisted with lies and half truths. List of true and unsung heroes is long. I want your views if, with the available new information from the media and now declassified information, it is time to rewrite History true to as it actually happened. You have recently removed small but very relevant changes I made on the Longowala operations and 1961 Goa Operations. regards Colonel Jai Jind (talk 15:52, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

@Colonel Jai Jind, on an encyclopedia like Misplaced Pages you should not include those things. The anti-vandalism tool has identified all of them as vandalism. Nevertheless. I am welcoming you to make worthwhile edits --115ash 16:31, 29 December 2014 (UTC)

Damian Wayne powers and abilities

Hello 115ash,

Perhaps it could be better formatted to reference the comic book, but it seems appropriate to mention his newly acquired super powers under the 'powers and abilities' section. The incident of Damian fighting Kalibak with his superstrength is referenced in the plot summary in the wikipedia page.

The current write of the Batman and Robin comic book talks about Damian's new super powers in this article http://www.newsarama.com/23035-batman-robin-writer-why-he-s-back-why-with-superpowers-and-what-s-next.html

The powers will be around for at least the next few months, so I think it's worthwhile to mention them in the article.

1962 Sino-Indian War truth and circumstantial vidence

Sir, 1962 Sino Indian war was a national disaster for India, for which Both Political and Military leaders were directly responsible. In order to cover up, they looked for Scalps from the junior leadership. The units fought under extreme hardship, specially the Tank unit that scaled the hazardous heights at great personal courage, without adequate administrative cover and Infantry support. Their rearguard action was not recognized. This needs correction, and also citations for those who laid their lives by keeping the enemy at bay and not allowing it to cut the roads at Bomdila, Chaka and Dirang Dzong. In Sino Indian war, tanks were employed under worst conditions than the epic battles of Zojila in J&K operations of 1948. Hi,

Thanks for creating the article. I made some small edits in the article 'Mohammed Ebadur Rahman'. First of all, Mohammed is not part of his name. Ebadur Rahman and Egorov Alexandre

Hello, 115ash. Today I was checking over an old page in draft space, Misplaced Pages talk:Articles for creation/Ebadur Rahman, and I realized that it had a lot of the same text that you added to the article Ebadur Rahman when you first created it. It appears that you copied some of the sentences from the draft when you made the article. Then while getting ready to leave this message, I noticed that you had created Egorov Alexandre, which was also copied from a previous draft. This was last year, so likely since then you have figured out that you should move the existing draft to the new title and then make changes to it, rather than making a new page, so that others can see who originally wrote the text. I have merged both pairs of pages together (which you can see if you look at the histories), so all is well. (Confession: I did the same thing when I first joined Misplaced Pages.) Are there any others that should be repaired? —Anne Delong (talk) 02:27, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Ooops, I should have mentioned that there are some situations where a move won't work, and copying is necessary, such as when two articles are being merged into one, or when the same text is to be in two articles. Here's a link that explains what to do in those cases: WP:Copying within Misplaced Pages. —Anne Delong (talk) 12:43, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. January 2016: blocked

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for outing. Ash, a user discovered purely by accident that you had posted their real name, and connected it with their Misplaced Pages account, on Misplaced Pages. Your edit has been oversighted to protect the user's privacy. At first I thought you possibly didn't realize what a bad idea that was and were merely being thoughtless. But now I've looked at the situation, and it's obvious you were angry with the user at that time. That makes it difficult for me to interpret your edit as a good-faith mistake. (I can explain the details in e-mail, if what I say should be obscure to you — though I'm pretty sure you understand me — I don't want to say more here, because I don't want to identify the other user.) Breaches of privacy are a very serious form of harassment. If you wish to appeal this block, you should read the policy on Outing and show that you have understood it, besides the usual (= reading the guide to appealing blocks). Also, be careful not to commit further breaches of privacy in any unblock request on this page. • To the reviewing admin: this had better be done by e-mail, I suppose, so that everyone can speak frankly. Could you please make your presence known here, and then 115ash and I can both give you any details we want by e-mail? Bishonen | talk 15:15, 6 January 2016 (UTC).
One thing to Ash, though: you haven't been blocked "permanently". The indefinitely is a link, please click on it to see that "indefinite" doesn't mean "infinite". Bishonen | talk 15:19, 6 January 2016 (UTC).
  • Ash: I guess Ohnoitsjamie has declined your requests on its merits, just from what he could see. I can't say I blame him. If you want to appeal again, please do it via the page WP:UTRS. Tell them I suggested it. To them, you can write any details you want (for instance, you can give evidence for your statement that "he already included many of the information of his private life"), and you don't need to worry about discretion. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I apologised. Bish, What could I do? I'm using wiki for very long. Help me, thanks. 115ash 11:39, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I'm declining this as a technicality, as with the evidence not visible any more it is really pretty much impossible to do a review here. Please follow Bishonen's direction to use WP:UTRS to appeal, where you will be able to discuss what happened openly in a more confidential forum. And do tell them it was Bishonen's suggestion and that they can contact her for her view of it. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:24, 7 January 2016 (UTC)

Bishonen, I've sent an email. Thanks.--115ash 11:28, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
Through WP:UTRS, I hope? If you've sent it to me, I'm afraid I haven't received it. Bishonen | talk 12:04, 8 January 2016 (UTC).
To both.--115ash 16:00, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
I suggest you try again, then. I still haven't received it. Bishonen | talk 21:14, 8 January 2016 (UTC).
Bish, did you receive it?--115ash 15:16, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
No, afraid not. I don't know what the problem is, as I seem to be getting messages from other wikipedians without any trouble. I know your message to WP:UTRS worked, though, because they've asked me a couple of questions about it. Have they responded to you yet? Bishonen | talk 15:50, 18 January 2016 (UTC).
It was an admin to told me that I won't be unblocked--115ash 15:53, 18 January 2016 (UTC).
Hi Bishonen. What should I do? I am blocked since 5th.--115ash 14:06, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
An UTRS admin? Well, perhaps your unblock request to them wasn't very convincing. Also, the situation, the timing of the outing, makes it look very dodgy, IMO. You could always try to appeal the UTRS decline again, by writing either directly to the admin who contacted you, or via the WP:UTRS page again. If you do, do think about what you say, and consider the reason you were blocked and what the declining admin says about the reason for the decline. It's out of my hands. Another thing you can do is appeal in six months' time, per the Standard offer. (That's only an essay, but it's quite widely accepted.) Note that the standard offer can only work if you haven't socked in the meantime. If you should edit from an IP or alternative account while you're blocked, you will be cooked for good on English Misplaced Pages. Bishonen | talk 14:23, 21 January 2016 (UTC).
Bish, your last sentences appear little bit rude. Anyways, I am using Misplaced Pages for almost two years. Within a year I've been a rollbacker and a pcr (as everyone knows these do not make me superior, but still do you understand what I mean). I am blocked as I'd be user Bambifan101 or a notable vandal. I can't remain blocked like this. Thanks.--115ash 14:46, 21 January 2016 (UTC)
Sorry that sounded rude. Truthfully, I was afraid it might, and hesitated to say it — but I thought it important to warn you about editing from an IP to avoid scrutiny, since you've done it before. I was afraid you might not realise the seriousness of doing it in this situation, assuming that you want to take advantage of the standard offer. Bishonen | talk 15:50, 21 January 2016 (UTC).

Racism in Italy

Salve, Compa'! Grazie, e buon anno!!!!Trinacrialucente (talk) 21:33, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, 115ash. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

Mistake: "political", not "social"

Sir,

There is a mistake in the title of your page: "London School of Economics and Social Science".

You should write "POLITICAL" instead of "Social", since this is the exact name of the LSE.

The URL I am talking about is:

]

However it is not possible to correct it, because this is an automatic "redirect" page.

The point is that Facebook uses this very page for all alumni, therefore displaying a wrong university name on our résumé!

Please see here:

https://www.google.fr/search?q=%22London+School+of+Economics+and+Social+Science%22&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=sP7VWd2dF6SCwgLdi4rADQ

So could you please correct this "Social Science" page? Thanks!
