What makes you think that you are following Misplaced Pages policies. Misplaced Pages wants information displayed on their website to be accurate. But you keep editing it to be inaccurate. Anybody who goes to the Boone County Fire Protection District page can count the number of stations and realize there is not 15 stations as you have put. There is 14, I changed it to 15 with an asterisk to reflect the near future changes.Trynton 07:24, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
: The fact that I have been editing Misplaced Pages for 4 years, while you have barely been on for 4 days, along with the fact that this is about the 200th Fire Department page I have worked on is what makes me so certain. Asterisk is NOT a proper method to denote this information. At this point in time the department has 14 stations. When the new station is completed, then the department will have a 15th station. Period. Look at every other department page and you will see this is the way it is done. And again, Read WP policies ] and ]. --] (]) 07:29, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
I've been on Misplaced Pages for 6 years. Just because this is your 200th page, and you have been editing for 4 years still does not make your information correct. I live in Boone County. I know about this department. And where in the Misplaced Pages policies does it say I cannot use an asterisk? Also why can I not change the information if the information is wrong? What makes you think that you are following Misplaced Pages policies. Misplaced Pages wants information displayed on their website to be accurate. But you keep editing it to be inaccurate. Your recent editing history at Boone County Fire Protection District shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
