Because ] released '']'', which was to be Ween's first online independent release, ] leaked the "album" to the Internet in 1999 to succor their fans and show them how much Ween appreciated them. Although it appears in Ween's chronology as being released after ''Paintin' the Town Brown'' (1999) and before ''White Pepper'' (2000), at least one song ("Put the Coke on My Dick") came out of the ''Mollusk'' sessions of 1997. Suckin' Blood From The Devil's Dick originated from the Pandy Fackler tape from the late 1980s.

	The tracks "Big Fat Fuck", "How High Can You Fly?" and "Monique the Freak" also appear in remixed form on Ween's 2005 album of unreleased tracks, '']''.
