Just wanted to ask this really quickly, but did they ever explicitly state that dreams was an open world game? :I honestly have no idea what ''Dreams'' is. But I suggest that we should wait until more details about the game appear. "Open dreamiverse" don't really mean anything though, and that we should not try to interpret what it really means. {{Lafc|username=Eterna S|ts=06:54:58, 30 July 2015|declined=Draft:SOHO_3Q}}

Hi, I submitted a page about SOHO 3Q and it's been rejected twice because it "read like an advertisement." I wonder if it has to do with the fact that most of the sources I cited are Chinese sources, and therefore are not seen as legit sources? All the information in this page came from legitimate and independent Chinese news sources.

Would appreciate your advice on how this page might be edited.

Many thanks.

] (]) 06:54, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

:{{ping|Eternas}} The problem is not with the sources. The problem is that your submission sounds like an advertisement, especially with the Amenities section. It is not neutral enough, and that it looks like something extracted from a promotional leaflet instead of a proper article. There is some other problems as well. There is no link to other article. The lead does not summarize the article well. It is not broken up into several sections, and that there is a lot of one-sentence paragraphs which is not good. ] (]) 07:32, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

== Turtle Rock Copy Edit ==

Hello:<br /> I have just about completed the c/e of your article Turtle Rock. I have a few comments which you might wish to clarify in the article.<br />In section "Turtle Rock 1.0"<br />
*“Upon the release of Source, the company wanted to work on a new intellectual property, and gained support from Valve.” -- are you referring here to the wizard combat game in the next paragraph? In which case isn't that sentence better there? And really, they didn't want to create "intellectual property" they wanted to create a game which can be described as intellectual property. Perhaps that's not the right term to use?<br />
In the section "Valve South"<br />
*”…Valve Corporation announced that it had purchased Turtle Rock in an effort to expand the company's Los Angeles market.” – can you explain this? Surely the company’s market is the world with the games they are producing?<br />
If you could let me know when you've had a chance to work on these two items, I will finish the copy edit and advise the GOCE that it's complete. Kind regards. ] (]) 13:08, 20 August 2015 (UTC)

However, they contradict themselves on their official website for the game: http://www.bioware.com/en/games/#dragon-age-inquisition

Dear Sir,

I hope this message finds you well. (I think I've been posting in the wrong section previously)

Since your previous feedback on the creation of this page, I have added several sources and details on the subject.

I have also found and linked digital files from archive databases where previously only names of the books/ magazines citations were provided. I'm sure having access to read and review the articles would offer a more informed judgment on the notability of the subject that was missing from the previous submissions.

I posted on Help Desk and I was advised to contact you this way. Your help on getting this creator of many classic retro games approved on Misplaced Pages would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards. Celebrate Muru (talk) 09:20, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

@Celebrate Muru: - GamesTM seems to provide an in-depth coverage of the person. However, the rest of the sources are mostly about the games he worked on instead of specifically about him. OceanHok (talk) 11:22, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. I'll try and find a few more in that format. I'm sure they exist, I just need to find them. Is there a set number I need to aim for, and do you think the article is still very far away from being approved? Thank you. Celebrate Muru (talk) 13:34, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
I think you need at least 3-5 sources to establish notability. They must be WP:SIGCOV and not merely passing mention. OceanHok (talk) 15:19, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

Star Wars Outlaws

After you made this reversion, the IP manually reverted you. I'm not familiar with the source, myself. Can you explain why you consider it unreliable? Thanks. Grandpallama (talk) 23:13, 2 October 2024 (UTC)

Deathloop

Hello, OceanHok. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Deathloop at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:33, 3 November 2024 (UTC)

Hi OceanHok, I've now finished my copy-edit. I went to check one source (no. 84), this citation reads:

Hughes, William (14 September 2021). "We're not mad at Deathloop—just a little disappointed". A.V. Club. Archived from the original on 22 March 2023. Retrieved 15 August 2024.

but the URL points to a Washington Post article. I can't find the correct citation in the article so I have marked both uses of this source . You can find notes in my edit summaries. I haven't checked old revisions. Checks on other citations in this article may be needed, though this is the only source I felt a need to check during my c/e. Good luck with the article. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 02:33, 3 November 2024 (UTC)

@Baffle gab1978: - Thank you very much for your efforts. I have corrected the issue. OceanHok (talk) 03:32, 3 November 2024 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Total War Saga Thrones of Britannia cover art.jpg

Thanks for your upload to Misplaced Pages:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука 04:02, 9 November 2024 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
