Was sad to see . Just curious.. was there something about enwiki itself that made you tire of editing as a hobby? :@{{u|OlEnglish}} – Thanks for asking! It was a mix of those reasons. I started growing tired of editing, and this coincided with my decision to dedicate and focus more of my time on my studies (this is the final academic year before I graduate). The wiki–drama I was involved in from October–December last year certainly didn't help, and it actually convinced me that walking away from all that was the right thing to do. —] (]) 10:17, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

Your conduct is not acceptable. someone of having a "''prima donna'' whine fest" is sexist and dismissive, while saying that there is nothing to respect in their opinion or them is positively indecent. and especially comment are typical of precisely the kind of battleground mentality and contribution to a toxic environment for which you narrowly avoided a block around a year ago. This is the only warning I am going to give- if you continue with that kind of behaviour, I will block you. I say this as someone who is at least partially in agreement with you; I think Calvin999's position is somewhat confused. That does not come close to justifying your comments. ] (]) 17:52, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
:@{{u|J Milburn}} – just to clarify, I was not trying to be sexist. I know that Calvin's a guy, and I have in real–life described myself and any other guys with that very term if I feel that is how I (or those other guys) have been behaving. If it is considered sexist by the majority of people, then I apologize for my ignorance. —] (]) 18:17, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
:: Apologising if, and only if, it is considered by the majority of people? And apologising to Josh is the wrong person to say it to despite your apparent best intentions, it should be me and you should post it on my talk to guarantee I see it. You've only admitted to a sort-of apology because you've been threatened with a block by two editors on ANI, and I think they've been very lenient and generous by not having implemented it... yet. — ] 22:01, 9 November 2015 (UTC) |
