==Your draft article, ]==
I'm not sure why you've decided to add timelines, but the one for Ethan Luck was not necessary. Most of the "live bands" were just touring gigs to pay the bills. Listing them isn't worthwhile. It's not more worthwhile than listing live performers for other bands. They're not members, it's just jobs. You're essentially making a pretty C.V. for mr. Luck. Some of the other timelines were good additions, but take a look at the Zao timeline now. It correctly lists bars (using "albums" rather than "black" and formats the data in easier to read columns when viewed in a monospaced font.

{{diff|7 Horns 7 Eyes|681100242|681096731|Please take a look at this edit}}. The first thing you should notice is that if you're defining the colours in the <tt>Colors =</tt> section, you should use them. So for instance. <tt>id:UVocals value:claret legend:Unclean_vocals</tt> defines the colour for unclean vocals. When you use it, don't do <tt>bar:KW from:01/01/2006 till:01/01/2010 {{!xt|color:claret}}</tt>, but do <tt>bar:KW from:01/01/2006 till:01/01/2010 {{xt|color:UVocals}}</tt> instead. Notice that the colour is the one you defined in the colors section. That way, someone can come along and change the colour in the definition section and it applies to all of the entries for that definition. Also, I defined <tt>id:Album value:black legend:Albums</tt> and <tt>id:EP value:gray(0.55) legend:EP</tt> rather than "lines" and made the change in the LineData section.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at ]. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
For the legend, make it four columns: <tt>Legend = orientation:vertical {{xt|columns:4}} position:bottom</tt>.

There are also issues about size, should be 800 pixels wide. That seems to work best for mobile devices, but I have no proof. And auto height is best. When that's used, using barincrements of 16 keeps the content compact. If you want more space, try 18 or 20. We will still disagree as to whether touring and session players should be in the timeline, but at least I won't have to undo more of your work than necessary =) There's even more information at ]. My goal is not to frustrate you, but to improve on your strengths and discuss when we disagree. ] (]) 05:41, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artists/c5790c27-5808-42a2-b409-5395b56c209f. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. If you did this because the references should be removed from the article, you have misunderstood the situation. Most likely, the article originally contained both <code><nowiki><ref name="foo">...</ref></nowiki></code> and one or more <code><nowiki><ref name="foo"/></nowiki></code> referring to it. Someone then removed the <code><nowiki><ref name="foo">...</ref></nowiki></code> but left the <code><nowiki><ref name="foo"/></nowiki></code>, which results in a <strong class="error">big red error</strong> in the article. I replaced one of the remaining <code><nowiki><ref name="foo"/></nowiki></code> with a copy of the <code><nowiki><ref name="foo">...</ref></nowiki></code>; I ''did not'' re-insert the reference to where it was deleted, I just replaced one of the ''remaining'' instances. What you need to do to fix it is to make sure you remove '''all''' instances of the named reference so as to not leave any <strong class="error">big red error</strong>.

:: Hi Metal. I'm wondering if you've looked at that image you uploaded because if you had, you'd see that it's plastered with copyright violation notices. You cannot just take an image that has been uploaded to the Internet and then in turn upload it to Misplaced Pages for use here. Check-out the links above related to permission and donating material. I am not the one who tagged those images, but once they're tagged, I have to follow the rules (and I've done it every time you've re-added the image). I have not bothered to warn you since I assumed you understand what you're doing. This last time I realized that I had to make it perfectly clear that there's a problem with the image since you clearly did not understand it. Somehow, you turned around and blamed me for the problem with the image that you originally uploaded. You can put in the link, without the protocol like this: www.solidstaterecords.com/artists/51/Living_Sacrifice/. You can even use templates like {{tl|url}} to wrap around it on occasion. Again, I don't need to see any of this, you need to clear the image for use on Misplaced Pages on the page where you uploaded it: ] ] (]) 16:41, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

When I remove ]s and then you restore them, like , I find it difficult to take you seriously as an editor. The fact that you constantly add unsourced material; treat Misplaced Pages like it's a zine or fan site instead of using professional, journalistic and encyclopedic tone, and several other issues make me cringe when I see your edits, because you're causing a lot of work. Just like this edit. Did you bother to read WP:REPEATLINK? If you don't understand it, feel free to ask. If you question its application in a list of band members, discuss that. When you don't even acknowledge that it was removed, that the removal was explained, and it points to a guideline on editing, it once again shows that Misplaced Pages is not the place you should be editing. ] (]) 23:31, 21 February 2016 (UTC) |

Re: Twelve Gauge Valentine
Hello! I requested userfication of the Twelve Gauge Valentine, and I see you have found the usercopy; I have not moved it to mainspace. I thought it used to have more references in it, but I was mistaken. I took a look around and found several resources which might be helpful to restoring the page, though I am not certain I will do so myself; the band only put out one album, which didn't chart, and the page has already had two AfDs, which means the battle would be uphill (prejudice is against you). I found a band biography on Allmusic, album review, album review, album review, album review, and Alternative Press covering their breakup. That's decent, but it might not be enough to convince the red-tape machine of DRV that the article should be restored. Would you like me to move the page to your userspace, if you are going to do more work on it? Chubbles (talk) 02:27, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
Yes, that would be nice. Thank you! Metalworker14 (talk) 8:34, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Hi there, I'm Serge, and admin here on Misplaced Pages. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but do you think maybe it would be a good idea to slow down and learn a little bit more about Misplaced Pages before making so many articles? I've noticed a lot of your article are being nominated for deletion or redirected.
I think you basically just need to start writing article using more third party reliable sources in order to make sure that the topic meets the WP:GNG. I think some of the article you've created, like for instance, Ghost Thief (album), are notable, however, the way you're writing them, makes them appear like they're not. You really should try to have at least 4 to 5 sources present when creating an article. And you really should add a few paragraph's of content in - it's generally frowned upon to create album article's that have nothing but a track listing. Creating a reception section, outline reviews for an album, for instance, is a good way to prove that it's worthy of having its own article.
- For a list of commonly used sources that are generally considered reliable, see WP:ALBUM/SOURCES.
- For extra help on using references, see WP:REFB.
- For ideas on how to typically write albums type articles, see WP:MOS-ALBUM.
I don't mean to offend or scare you away, I just don't want your work to be wasted on efforts that just keep getting eliminated. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.Sergecross73 msg me 13:49, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- No problem. As I said here, I don't agree with the nomination, I think he's off base, but if you are just a little more thorough with your articles, you'd be able to eliminate these misunderstandings altogether, you know? Let me know if you need help. Sergecross73 msg me 14:11, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
Re: Ghost Thief
That other editor was not supposed to do that. I'll monitor the page to make sure it won't happen again. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 23:16, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
Question
Hello Metalworker14. You have been reported at WP:AIV once again for adding made-up information and information that goes against an official source. What do you have to say about these claims? Widr (talk) 06:18, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Widr it is nice to meet you. Let me ask which article that I have been reporting of making information up on? I would love to know before I give you a reason. Metalworker (Yo) 07:44, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
- Please look at the link I gave you. The report is still there. Widr (talk) 11:47, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Widr the user that reported me seems to have a problem with me as he has reported me on several occasions and has sent me messages saying essentially "that I never should have became an editor". As for the false information, I believe the issue is about a member returning to the band, of which, the bands article stated he was back in the band. Metalworker14 (Yo) 09:43, 12 May 2016 (UTC)
Torn (band)
They are 100 percent notable per Cross Rhythms magazine review, HM Magazine review, and The Phantom Tollbooth review, plus they are in an encyclopedia showing tertiary source coverage for the band, making them even more notable. You must start citing sources to prove notability, where you are expecting others' to deem stuff encyclopedic by osmosis of their recollection. You are doing excellent work with regards to an article such as Righteous Vendetta.The Cross Bearer (talk | contribs) 08:17, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
Gryp
This is a notable group, where they have received coverage in The Phantom Tollbooth for Real EP, The Phantom Tollbooth two reviews for Indecision album, Cross Rhythms Magazine review for Indecision album, HM Magazine review for Indecision album, Two reviews for s/t album from HM Magazine where I found one here, and Cross Rhythms review of EP I Wanna Be God. They had two stories written about them in HM Magazine, and tertiary source with coverage in The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music, showing even more notability.The Cross Bearer (talk | contribs) 08:31, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Vengeance Rising.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Vengeance Rising.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Misplaced Pages. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Majora (talk) 02:32, 17 October 2017 (UTC)

The article Giuseppe Capolupo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

- Walter Görlitz, the article does not fail WP:GNG, there are two sources in the page that cover only him and his project that he formed, both reliable sources. He received significant coverage once becoming the fill-in drummer for The Devil Wears Prada, while not covering him exclusively, he was covered nonetheless. Each source provided is a reliable source. There are interviews out there, featuring him, however, many are YouTube uploaded video interviews and not considered reliable sources (despite them pertaining to the subject matter), which is why they are not included. --Metalworker14 (Yo) 04:12, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Aaron Bridgewater (August 13)
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Theroadislong was: This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Misplaced Pages article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Misplaced Pages. The comment the reviewer left was: Linked in and band interviews are not reliable sources please replace. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Aaron Bridgewater and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you now believe the draft cannot meet Misplaced Pages's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Aaron Bridgewater, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{db-self}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
- If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Misplaced Pages's real-time chat help from experienced editors.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jani Stefanovic, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pantokrator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 07:21, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

Problem with your custom signature
You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Misplaced Pages's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.
The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.
- Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
- Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
- Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
- Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
More information about custom signatures is available at Misplaced Pages:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Misplaced Pages talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of List of Today Is the Day members
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on List of Today Is the Day members requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Misplaced Pages:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Misplaced Pages:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. WikiMacaroons 20:12, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
- @User:WikiMacaroons, there was no copying of anything from any sight aside from Today Is the Day's Misplaced Pages page, which Underoath's page of band members also does. The source you have linked literally states that their information comes from Misplaced Pages. Thank you for deleting a page without quick notice and one that actually used information from Misplaced Pages to begin with. That was sarcasm, in case that was not clear. - User:Metalworker14 (talk) 09:28, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry about that, Metalworker. Made a bit of a careless mistake, sarcasm was justified. Contacted the deleting admin who has restored the page. Will be more careful in future. Again, sorry. WikiMacaroons 18:59, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you. I apologize for being snarky. It had been a long day when I wrote that. My apologies for being so harsh, but I appreciate the restoration. Metalworker14 (Talk) 08:41, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
November 2020
Thanks for contributing to the article Love and Death (band). However, one of Misplaced Pages's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). If you need further help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Misplaced Pages, or ask at the Teahouse, or just ask me. Thank you. --Jax 0677 (talk) 11:03, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

Continued addition of poorly sourced content and incorrect formatting
As has been mentioned multiple times, you're adding poorly sourced content yet again. I think you missed WP:THEBAND. What that means is that we write the Crucified not The Crucified for that band's name, unless it is is at the start of a sentence. Also, if you're writing a biography about a person, do not add content about the rest of the band or other players to puff it out. Focus on the subject of the article. New Zao release
Are you familiar with WP:NOTNEWS? Just because the band is notable and they have announced that a new album is pending, we not need to write about it. Period. Also, date formatting and other problems with your edit. While some of your edits have gotten better, they still require a lot of maintenance. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:53, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- I do understand that Misplaced Pages is not a newspaper. However, why would you not want to update the page with the most current and relevant information pertaining to the band. It's not journalism if it serves as an account of history of the subject. In this case, I've seen it done across several pages. Hence my confusion on the matter. Proposed deletion of Jeremiah Scott
The article Jeremiah Scott has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Aside from the two WP:ROUTINE pieces on the subject joining Demon Hunter (their press team should be lauded for their work on that) the subject has not received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Despite having worked in some capacity with multiple bands, the subject has still not garnered coverage. Fails WP:MUSICBIO and certainly WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:53, 23 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding your addition to Circles (P.O.D. album), we shouldn't use Cryptic Rock as a source per WP:ALBUMAVOID—there has been a discussion on its use before, which resulted in a consensus to not use it, hence its listing there. Another source you used is a blog review—anybody can set up an Internet blog and review an album. It doesn't make them an experienced music critic. We generally prefer publications that have editorial teams and oversight, experienced critics, and being a well known name in their respective fields of music criticism before we use their websites. Thanks. Ss112 01:57, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

Hello Metalworker14. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Symphony of Heaven, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Misplaced Pages's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Misplaced Pages must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Misplaced Pages. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Misplaced Pages is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Metalworker14. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Metalworker14|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. In this edit, you uploaded a photo, which you identified as the copyright holder, but it happens to be an identical scaled down photo as the one on band's website. https://symphony-of-heaven.com/who-we-are which would suggest you downloaded the photo from the site and uploaded it as if you own it, or you work for the band but did not disclose this fact as required on Misplaced Pages. Graywalls (talk) 05:57, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- Metalworke14, did you continue editing under any other names or while logged out in the area related to music after this notice? Graywalls (talk) 20:01, 29 November 2024 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of My Place Was Taken
The article My Place Was Taken has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Seems to be non-notable.
While all constructive contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Luxor Records.png
Thanks for uploading File:Luxor Records.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:40, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Misplaced Pages to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Misplaced Pages.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.
Metalworker14 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I was unaware of the existence of a Conflict of Interest clause. I never received any payment from the artist in question. I joined the artist as a member of the band at least a year after I had created the page. However, I never consciously allowed for that affiliation to influence my edits on Misplaced Pages, only attempting to include information that is relevant to the artist that was published by independent sources that received nothing more than a press release from the artist or label. I did receive the image in question from the photographer with rights to use the image.
- Going forward, I will abstain from editing the artist's page or anything directly related to the artist such as their work. In addition, I have never and will never accept payment from anyone seeking to create or edit material for Misplaced Pages. The Misplaced Pages bi-laws on Notability and Relevance seem to change with the wind, so it has been hard to align everything in accordance with those principles, but I will continue to do so. I have read over the Terms of Use and I will structure my work around them going forward.
Decline reason:
As Graywalls has shown in the discussion below, you have engaged in block evasion by editing Misplaced Pages using an IP address while your account is blocked. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 06:33, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

- As a non-admin, I will just note, Metalworker14, that if you are unblocked, I highly recommend getting some help with editing and Misplaced Pages procedures. You've been an editor for 10 years, but throughout that entire history there have been issues with how you construct articles (notability, referencing, and such). I'd say that you need to slow down and learn how to write better quality material.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 15:27, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, also, be aware of WP:SELFCITE. If you are citing yourself extensively, this is potentially problematic and you should exercise caution.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 16:43, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- I appreciate the advice. Every time I seem to make an effort towards understanding the notability factors, there seems to be a change in the information. Notability shifts over time it would seem. But I appreciate the feedback. I will take that under advisement if I am unblocked. 209.132.175.191 (talk) 19:29, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
(non-admin comment): I seem to remember this is not the only time COI concerns were raised about you over the years. You also didn't follow up to the message left about conflict of interest editing or a discussion at the noticeboard. I am not sure to what extent admin can review the private evidence sent to paid-en-wpwikipedia.org but it's quite compelling, but for the very reason they had to be emailed, I can't discuss details to stay within WP:OUTING. All I can say is that "paid editing" isn't constrained to itemized payment for specific action to made on Misplaced Pages. When a salaried person go for a professional coffee with a prospective client, they're not being paid in an itemized "$xx to go have coffee at Starbucks with xx xx from company yy", yet this is a "paid" meeting. Graywalls (talk) 16:27, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- And also, editing in COI area well into November under peculiar circumstances even after the UPE warning was left on Metalworker14 user page. I'm going to refrain from discussing in details per OUTING. I am opposed to the unblock. There's more to it than can be discussed in public. I'm just putting a request that whoever considers the request be someone who has access to functionary email and take the emailed evidence into consideration. Thank you, Graywalls (talk) 16:41, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Don't panic @Graywalls, it's in the block log. :) -- asilvering (talk) 03:48, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- I have been attempting to login to respond via the proper means, however, I have forgotten my password. I've submitted two requests to change the password and have received no word, hence, why I've not addressed this until now. However, since my integrity is being called into question, I am addressing these issues as best I can. 209.132.175.191 (talk) 19:32, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- Where else have I have been accused of COI concerns? This is the first case in my memory. 209.132.175.191 (talk) 19:25, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
- When you say above
I will abstain from editing the artist's page
you are massively under-representing the scale of the conflict of interest that you have been demonstrated to have been involved in. If you aren't even going to acknowledge what you have been doing wrong I hardly see how anyone can begin to think about unblocking you. Similarly, the idea that this relates to notability criteria (or changes to those criteria) is again a complete misrepresentation. - If you don't even acknowledge what you did to end up being blocked, why is there any reason to believe that you will stop doing it if you get unblocked? Axad12 (talk) 21:44, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- @209.132.175.191 and 75.103.215.60:, unblock requests can only be made by the block user in question. So, given that one of the IPs filed the request, and the other participated in discussion that puts themselves as the user in question themselves based on context, so I'm going to assume this request s made by Metalworker14 themselves. This being said, Metalworker14, have you made any edits in music/metal area after I left you a COI notice on 05:57, 14 October 2024 (UTC) which you have not responded to? Have you done any editing under any other user names? Graywalls (talk) 22:32, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
- When you say above
Here's block evasion Graywalls (talk) 20:54, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
This is what we have so far: Metalworker14 did not respond to COI/UPE message left on their page. They also did not participate at all in the COI/N thread started about them even though they were given notice on this talk page. However, once they were blocked, an IP came to this page indirectly identifying themselves as Metalworker14 to appeal the block. On the day after their block, that same IP edited on a metal music related page. Graywalls (talk) 15:20, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
