* Right-o, from now on I will not "dirty up my user page, with your impure grammer". And yes, it does matter about correct spelling and grammar, you should at least make an effort. The standard of writng you display reflects on you. If you show respect to a person's talk page they will show respecy for you (unless they ask you not to use "impure spelling and grammer" .

::Hi, as a fellow ] I have some suggestions if you want to do more Brickfilms. Tape down the set and your camera so they don't move around, it's kind of hard to watch when the set is dancing around ;). Find out if you can turn off ALL auto features on your camera. It will prevent the light from flickering, and other annoying mistakes. In the future, it would also be good to consider adding sound. Not bad for a beginner! If you're still interested in brickfilming, check out . It's a great resource! Good luck! ] 02:59, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

I unfortunately have no idea how to make a SVG. As SVGs are not raster images, it's possible that making them might mean starting from scratch rather than simply converting, but I don't know for sure. You might be better off asking someone else. When it comes to modifying images, generally it's not safe to assume that modification is a good way to get around license issues. If you really want an image that has a license you like, you're safest drawing/photographing it yourself (not tracing, and not taking photographs of something copyrighted). Take care. --] 13:05, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors!

This is the best thing ever. Nominate for featured! '''Nominate for featured!''' So anyway, how do you take apart Red Decks? Clerics? White reversal/prevent spells? Creature rush? Counterspells? :Why would someone take this picture? To prove that Jimbo has been to Finland? There's saunas everywhere... Anyway, I usually play with a green+black or white+black deck (well, actually I haven't played Magic for more than a year now). When my opponents play with red, they're just doomed. I nearly always succeed in neutralizing their creatures. So they have to resort to sorceries to directly inflict damage on me. ::You miss the point, it's Jimbo: '''near a sauna!''' A sauna Husond. A sauna. Anyway, yes, White seems to be Death for Red, but their are a few ways to work around it (I play with White, Green and Red and Artifacts), but I suppose it depends on what you are playing with, Goblin Decks have more creatures than there are atoms in the universe, and Direct Damage relys on Instants and Sorceries rather than creatures. Fair use rationale for File:DFRLego 020.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:DFRLego 020.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 11:10, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Updated Copyright on File:Discovery 100 dollar note back bigJohn Tebbutt.jpg
Hi Dfrg.msc, I've just updated File:Discovery 100 dollar note back bigJohn Tebbutt.jpg with an Australian Note-specific copyright template. I'd encourage you to check your free-use rationale, given that the Reserve Bank of Australia provides a general exemption for note reproductions under certain conditions, as you've already noted (I've merged the text into the template - hope you don't mind). twilsonb (talk) 04:38, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Prism (street artist)
The article Prism (street artist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not notable, lack of sources.
While all contributions to Misplaced Pages are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ben Ben (talk) 09:54, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:10royals.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. JaGa 22:03, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity
Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Misplaced Pages:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. You're invited to the Canberra WikiMeetup on 20 November 2011
Hi! We're having a Canberra Wikimeetup on 20 November 2011 at Siren Bar in Gunghalin from 2pm to 4pm. It's most just a chance to chat with other local Wikipedians, get a chance to go a different sort of bar (which is reasonably kid friendly, serves real food, and has non-alcholic options), and, if you're interested, learning more about what Wikimedia Australia and local GLAM projects are happening. We'd love to see you and any Misplaced Pages/Wikimedia/wiki loving friends you have there. --LauraHale (talk) 07:07, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

MOTDs (This space for rent)
You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! ·Add§hore· 14:09, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Motto of the Day Help Request April 2014
Today's motto...→ The highways are crowded with people who drive as if their sole purpose in getting behind the wheel is to avenge every wrong done them by man, beast or fate.
Motto of the Day (WP:MOTD) is in a state of emergency and really needs your help! There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Misplaced Pages:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months.
Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Misplaced Pages:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Misplaced Pages:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials. Any help would be appreciated! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- This message has been sent by pjoef on behalf of Motto of the Day to all editors of the English Misplaced Pages who are showing MOTD's templates on their pages, and to all the participants to MOTD: (page, template, and category).

notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:57, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Motor Bike.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Motor Bike.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Microsoft Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. - FlightTime (open channel) 23:55, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
