Hey, when I looked at the page history to see you'd blanked my last message, I noticed . AFD may not be a vote, but when you cast "keep" !votes anyway, you really should '''write them in boldface'''. One of the reasons being that the automatically-generated AFD stats for users can't track your stats as easily: you appear to have edited some 552 AFDs a total of (up to?) 2,272 times, and yet the tool can only recognize 4 !votes you have made, all "keep".<!-- "wikipedia:articles for deletion/" gives 901 results, but the 349 results for "wikipedia:articles for deletion/log" need to be subtracted --><!-- "wikipedia:articles for deletion/" gives 2,272 results -->

Doing this gives the impression that you are trying to cover whatever patterns might be detected in your edits, as any individual AFD closer will notice, for example, whose prose text begins "Keep and improve." and count it, but figuring out whether you automatically !vote "keep" regardless of the evidence or arguments in any individual AFD is a lot more difficult. Could you perhaps link to any recent AFD where you !voted "delete" or "redirect"?

Expiring drafts

Hello, James500,

I just noticed that some drafts are coming due for CSD G13 speedy deletion that you have been making minor edits to to prevent their deletion over the past few years. If you haven't been keeping a list, look at this list, around the time of 08:00 UTC. You can always go to WP:REFUND to request their restoration. Thanks. Liz 08:01, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

Or you can just go to User talk:Jolly and see the notices on their User talk page since it appears that they are the draft creator for most of these articles. Liz 08:06, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
There is one draft that wasn't deleted because it had been edited in November and that's Draft:Luke Millington-Drake. Liz 08:26, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:22, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
