::{{reply|Saff V.}} it seems like a case of overlap to me, and this article already has a fairly detailed discussion of Ruhollah Khomeini's exile–I was under the impression that merging the articles would only add a few paragraphs of length here, and would avoid creating a fork and having two separately maintained accounts of Khomeini's exile. signed, ] ] 17:46, 21 November 2018 (UTC)

Please remove nationality parameter per MOS:INFONAT. 112.204.223.12 (talk) 09:16, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

Not done for now: From my understanding, the nationality parameter is unnecessary if the nationality can be inferred from the birthplace parameter. Here, the birthplace is listed as Sublime State of Persia, which is not exactly the same state as the current Islamic Republic of Iran. I think this creates the possibility for confusion, especially with the name we're currently using for Khomeini's birth state (as opposed to Qajar Iran). Cannolis (talk) 22:56, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
