For a long time, MTA T Train has had a very big hobby on the NYC Subway. MTA T Train had ridden on some of the NYC Subway's retired car fleets from 2006 until 2009, when the trains had fully retired. In November 2008, MTA T Train started to videotape the NYC Subway; however, it was not until July 2009 when MTA T Train decided to finally videotape with greater efforts the NYC Subway and other of the US's transit systems, although most of the retiring fleets at the time had since vanished from service. Nevertheless, MTA T Train finally established an account on YouTube called "mtattrain" (since renamed to "MTA T Train") on September 1, 2009, and the account has constantly been receiving videos varying from 2008 to the present. A second account named "ihasbeencensored" was launched in 2011 and revived for heavy usage in 2017.

MTA T Train has over 4600 subscribers on YouTube as of the end of April 2020, and an additional 950+ on "ihasbeencensored." The videos depict transit systems in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
