I submitted one of my article(]) in Korean Misplaced Pages to the ] and it's now shown on the front page of Korean Misplaced Pages. But I have a little bit of concern. ] has been vandalized recently and just until a couple of days ago, it was permanently protected. So, I asked in the ] and had a conversation with one of the administrator, and he adjusted the permanent protection of the article to semi-protection, which enabled me to edit the article. What I'm worried about is, if I put all 2 of my own article on the ], and if another student of this lecture would post his/her 2 articles in the ], then '''at least 4 out of 5 articles on the front page would be changed in a very short period of time''', since ] can only have 5 articles at a time. I'm not sure if this would be OK, because the articles already listed in '''Did you know''' are also hard works done by other Wikipedians, and just changing most of them all of a sudden might make them feel upset. Of course, they might not be if this is a normal thing to happen in Misplaced Pages, but I couldn't figure if it is normal or not. So I wanted to ask you if it would be OK. Thank you for reading -- ]] 06:09, 31 May 2020 (UTC)

:{{u|GyongminM}}, Excellent job getting your article on the Korean Misplaced Pages's front page. You are really getting very experienced, and you are earning many extra credit points! I wouldn't worry too much about overwhelming the main page, so far your work is the first from our semester this year, and while I hope it won't be the last, I don't think there will be a flood. Worst case, there may be a bit of a backlog, but I am sure the Korean Misplaced Pages Main Page admins will appreciate some extra content to use. So don't hesitate to promote your work! You deserve all the credit. ]|] 01:16, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello Piotrus! Just wanted to get some feedback, if that's fine with you. ] has now been redirected. Were you still unconvinced about the notability after my ? (Volumewise they surely exceed the 2-3 sentences you mentioned, but maybe it was a content thing?) Or was it just bad timing that the ] was closed premature for a final decision? Or...? I was going to add something from the two border-line reliable sources next, and had one more point from "Tolkien Sidelined" which I could not figure out how to present, but well, that's not going to happen then. ::The Polish-language genre arose as a ca. 1535 Polish translation of the original 1515 German-language ] recounting the adventures of the merry prankster ].
::According to ]'s '']'', in my understanding the polonization of the character's ] (in German, formed from ''Eule'', "owl" + ''Spiegel'', "looking-glass", aka "mirror") to ''Sowizdrzał'' began as ''Sownociardłek'' (from ''sowa'', "owl" + ''zwierciadło'', "mirror"). But in the next, 1547 edition the overlong name was shortened to ''Sowizdrzał''.
::There were also early French and Czech translations of the German chapbook.
::The character's outlandish German surname is derived by some scholar's from a ] involving a scabrous German expression meaning, roughly, "Kiss my ass!"
::So, how you would treat the Polish article's title, "'']''", may depend on what you mean to do with it.
::If you merely want to employ it ], you might consider "Eulenspiegelesque literature" (my neologism, so far as I know).

Many thanks for putting the discussion into its appropriate context as a "would-be" drive-by editor (actually an experienced one) making aspersions at the content of that article as though the text contained Holocaust denial was utterly infuriating. That page, among many, is one where I made the bulk of the contributions, carefully so given the sensitive nature of the subject. Your correctives were on target as were your wise comments.
