Fred Hammond (born in Detroit, Michigan, USA) is a gospel music singer, bass guitar player, and producer. He has been active both as a member of gospel performing group Commissioned, and currently as a solo artist for Verity Records. While playing the bass guitars for the Winans, he began to venture out into other venues of gospel music.
