On google maps and elsewhere, I've seen this place referred to as Bryn Gates. What if any is the difference? Shouldn't this name be at least referenced in the article? \ ] \ ] \ ] \ 01:48, 10 February 2007 (UTC) | On google maps and elsewhere, I've seen this place referred to as Bryn Gates. Pronunciation
Beefart says : For the benefit of the poor, benighted colonial types, can you please make it clear whether Bryn is pronounced BRIN or BRIAN? I suspect the former but it pays to consult the locals, who will have the pronunciation down to a tea... If you oblige, I'll teach you how to pronounce Vanrhynsdorp...Captainbeefart 14:05, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- The correct pronunciation is BRIN. Take it from a local! Freeloaded 21:28, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- Captain, I'm sure you mean 'down to a tee'. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.192.242.187 (talk • contribs) 18:34, 27 October 2006.
References
When removing citations that do not agree with ones point of view it is usual, at the very least, to provide a reference to support the alternative view. MRSC • Talk 12:59, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- A reference ie. List of postal districts in the United Kingdom/R-Z WAS provided. But YOU and Gallo... seem to consider yourselves an authority to REMOVE IT ! 80.192.242.187 13:23, 8 February 2007 (UTC) JemmyH.

Edmund Arrowsmith
The article says his remains are buried at Bryn Hall but every reference I can find says his hand is at St. Oswald's Church. Could we get a reference here? This part of the article is very confusing. \ Fnarf999 \ talk \ contribs \ 01:51, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
