Julia Winter is a Swedish-born British Doctor. She used to be an actress, mainly known for her role as Veruca Salt in the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Biography
Winter was born in 1993 on March 17 in the city of Stockholm, Sweden, the eldest of three siblings. Her parents have British citizenship. She went to the Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket, although she lived in London for most of her childhood.
Winter was a student at a drama school, before her first and only film role in the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring alongside actor Johnny Depp. She retired acting in 2006.
Among her hobbies are horse riding, tennis, gymnastics, swimming, and playing the piano. She speaks English and Swedish fluently.
She is now a doctor in Stockholm.
