Hi, I'm Tony, a professional journalist and editor with about ten years of experience in various forms. I'm a Wikipedian because I find the format fascinating, and the concept of a community developing a resource like this is quite unique. Hopefully, I'll be able to provide a lot of good input through my various activities here.
Development of various articles in the WikiProject Vancouver space, mostly focused on neighbourhoods (No more redlinks - someone got to the last one while I was distracted. Whee!))
Broke 1000 edits posting one of the above. (Hmm. I seem to have broken 3000 while I wasn't looking. Cool.)
Performance of Recent Changes Patrol and New Page Patrol, tagging all sorts of questionable content for deletion or cleanup, as well as starting a few Articles for Deletion discussions where needed
Accidentally proposing deletion of someone's user page as non-notable while engaged in the above activity (and apologizing profusely)
Cleanup and wikification of several articles (like Stanley Coren, who was a great psychology prof well before he got all famous) to either save them from deletion or remove some concerns - this is an area I'm going to be doing more of as I go, and one that I hope to focus on in my spare time (there's quite the backup)
Irritation of a few nice folks who racked up my vandal count below nicely
