The profile pic is from 2011. There have been so many new images from the current reunion tour, it should probably be updated. Suggestion: their official Warner FYC Grammy nomination photo. ] (]) 23:14, 2 November 2022 (UTC)

The band did not form after 9/11
Court documents from when Matt sued the band show that Matt and Gerard started the band on or before 1 September 2001. He has also claimed that a lot of the band history is made up lies to make them look better. So this would seem to support this fact.
I'd recommend someone making serious changes to the paragraph detailing the beginnings of the band. Or at least to mention at the beginning that there is evidence to suggest the band was formed before 9/11.
I have tried a simple google search and can not find anything about this. I know this is a 7 year old post but would you care to elaborate? 58.168.53.177 (talk) 13:04, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
This isn't true at all. Gerard has clearly stated countless times that 9/11 inspired the beginning of the bad. Its in life on the murder scene and probably a million articles. VeroaP23 (talk) 13:38, 13 September 2022 (UTC)

"......is an American rock band from Newark, New Jersey." MCR is from Belleville, New Jersey, as is stated in many articles and their 2005 tour documentary life on the murder scene. Please change town name from Newark to Belleville. VeroaP23 (talk) 13:33, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
