Joe Rogan (born August 11, 1967 in Newark, New Jersey, USA) is primarily a stand-up comedian, but has had some minor success in television, notably with the American sitcom "NewsRadio" and as one of the hosts of "The Man Show."
He was raised in the Boston, Massachusetts area and achieved a degree of fame as a four-time state Tae Kwon Do champion and the World Tae Kwon Do champion in 1986, before pursuing a career in show business.
Since 2001 he has been the host of NBCs, "Fear Factor," a degrading, yet captivating reality show that pits three males and three females against each other in dare devil stunts for a chance to win a prize of $50,000.00.
