The editor who insists on boldly redoing the lead is still reverting to his version. One main problem of the first sentence being a run-on has been solved. The RfC does not have the input I'd think such vast changes at the flagship article on Misplaced Pages deserves. The lead seems fine as is, with some tweaks, but the entire rewrite replacing it doesn't seem, in my opionion, to improve the page and its long-term language.
