Complete lead change requested in an RfC at Misplaced Pages

A total rewrite of the lead to replace the present lead is being discussed at the talk page of the Misplaced Pages page, which may interest readers of this project. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:51, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

The editor who insists on boldly redoing the lead is still reverting to his version. One main problem of the first sentence being a run-on has been solved. The RfC does not have the input I'd think such vast changes at the flagship article on Misplaced Pages deserves. The lead seems fine as is, with some tweaks, but the entire rewrite replacing it doesn't seem, in my opionion, to improve the page and its long-term language.
