Ulf Gunnar Ekberg aka Buddha, (born December 6, 1970) in Göteborg, Sweden to Mats and Monika Ekberg, is one of the four members of Swedish pop group Ace of Base. His father is the former tennis coach of the Swedish and Danish national teams. Growing up, Ulf experienced problems with drugs, and now fights against violence and the abuse of drugs among adolescents. He now resides in Marbella, Spain, and is currently seeing Swedish model and television personality, Emma Sjöberg. Ulf has previously worked as a chef, and also studio technician.
