My interests on Misplaced Pages vary, but I primarily concentrate on locations within ], biographical articles concerning Australian politicians, and in attempting providing balance and an NPOV perspective on articles with controversial subject matter.

I'm also fairly active over at ]. I don't consider myself an inclusionist or a deletionist, but rather as someone who looks at every article on a case-by-case basis. If you disagree with my arguments in a deletion debate, feel free to drop me a line, I'm not averse to changing my vote given a good reason. Some of my pet hates with AfD debates are:

* Users nominating articles on culturally unfamiliar subjects without doing backup checks. Examples are ] and ]. If you're not familiar with a subject, do a bit of research before taking it to AfD.
I'm finally getting around to writing this user page. I hate writing about myself, so I'll just provide this handy dot-point list of interesting things:
* Television episodes are nearly always not notable. You can't tell me that ] or ] are notable. Unfortunately, attempts to get rid of these almost always fail when aggrieved fans of the programme in question show up and vote Keep ''en masse''.


Some articles that I'm working on and which I think are coming along nicely are:
* I live in ], a town in ], ].

* I hold a ] degree from the ]. What a great idea that was.

* I am the editor and owner of http://www.halo-17.net, an ] ]. I'll soon also be one of the board members of ], a project to bring more open publications onto the market, which aren't coloured by commercial and corporate concerns.

* I was born in ], and I have a longtime girlfriend.
Unfortunately, between my WikiGnoming and saving borderline cases of articles that hit AfD, I don't get time to work on other projects so much anymore.
* I share my name with a lecturer of ] at the ]. I get about one email meant for him a month.
* My favourite sports include ] and ].
* Some people have accused me of being ]. What I feel I am, though, is ].
* I speak with a slightly Irish accent. Despite living 95% of my life inside a large city, I'm also told that I sound like a country boy.
* I play guitar, piano, and I'm thinking about taking up drums.
