Hello FlightTime. Most all of the pagemovers at ] use ] to do round-robin swaps, rather than manually moving B → C then A → B then C → A. This allows the whole swaps to be done from ], so you can just click the "move" link on a technical request and it will put relevant information into the edit summary (a permanent link to the request, who requested it, and what the reason given was) then you just need to click the "Swap" link in the red box on the move page to bring up the swap form. RM/TR
Hello FlightTime. Most all of the pagemovers at WP:RM/TR use User:Ahecht/Scripts/pageswap to do round-robin swaps, rather than manually moving B → C then A → B then C → A. This allows the whole swaps to be done from Special:MovePage, so you can just click the "move" link on a technical request and it will put relevant information into the edit summary (a permanent link to the request, who requested it, and what the reason given was) then you just need to click the "Swap" link in the red box on the move page to bring up the swap form. For example this move includes "Requested by Omnis Scientia at WP:RM/TR: It is a list of cemeteries; also matches article name of List of Jewish cemeteries in New York City.
" This makes it much easier for people looking at an article's history to see the rationale for the move (compared to a "Perform requested technical move (WP:RMTR)
" edit summary). SilverLocust 💬 05:53, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
