High school career
Marshall attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his senior year he rushed for 1,550 yards and 17 touchdowns in 13 games. He also had 30 receptions for 394 yards and four touchdowns. Following the season he was named Ohio Mr. Football. He finished his high school career with 4,787 rushing yards. He was rated a four-star recruit, and ranked the No. 6 running back in the country by 247Sports.
College career
He had only eight carries in the 2024 regular season, tallying 20 yards. He got his first start for Michigan in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl against No. 11 Alabama, tallying 100 yards on 23 carries.
