The 8th West Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards (WBFJA) also known as Cinemar Somabarton (transl. Convocation of Cinema) is an upcoming annual award ceremony which will be honouring the best Bengali-language films of 2024.
Background
The nominations for the ceremony were announced on 3 January 2025 via a Facebook live video from the official page of the organization. The ceremony is to take place in a circus tent in order to commemorate the 100th Birth Anniversary of noted Indian actor Raj Kapoor.
