Guo Jiakun (Chinese: 郭嘉昆; pinyin: Guō Jiākūn; born August 1980), ethnic Mongol, is a Chinese diplomat, currently serving as the 35th spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China since 6 January 2025.

Biography

Guo Jiakun served as the Third Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations [zh], Deputy Director of the Fourth Division of the Department of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [zh], and Director of the Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China [zh].

On January 6, 2025, Guo Jiakun officially conducted a regular press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, assuming the role of the 35th spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
