Born in Guamúchil, Sinaloa, Espinoza joined the youth academy of Club América. Espinoza had a brief spell with the youth academy of Belgian football club Club Brugge during the 2022-23 season. Upon his return to Club América, Espinoza made his professional debut coming in as a late substitute in the CONCACAF Champions Cup match against New England Revolution on 9 April 2024.
