Max Kandhola (Peter Pupender Max Singh Kandhola) is a British Punjabi Sikh. Max is a photographer and an academic. Born 1962, Selly Oak, England, to Punjabi Sikh parents. Father born in Lahore (Punjab) before the partition of India and mother born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Migrated to England in 1956, settling first in Bradford and then Birmingham in the early 1960s.
