Neil Gaiman, British science fiction and comic books author, born November 10, 1960 in the United Kingdom. Currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA.
After a start in the world of journalism, Gaiman was picked up by DC Comics editor Karen Berger to revive the series "Black Orchid." His best-known work is the Sandman comics series, which chronicles the adventures of Dream, the personification of the human imagination. Gaiman has also written some novels, and the short darkfantasy television series Neverwhere:
