I've added a couple of references for the ] page now, but as you'll see from my message on the talk page there, I don't feel competent to do a full article on this important social activist. I have the obit for the Indy, and the article from the ''Abbey Compendium'' - although it is a privatley published item - was from an interview with Lady Simey herself. So I hope that will keep the article from being deleted, though I recognise it is still very much a stub! I have bracketed out the unreferenced tag, but if you feel it should be reinstated, I leave that to your superior judgement. ] <small>] • (])</small> 19:55, 29 May 2007 (UTC)

I can NOT emphasize this enough.

There seems to be a terrible bias among some editors that some sort of
random speculative "I heard it somewhere" pseudo information is to be
tagged with a "needs a cite" tag. Wrong. It should be removed,
aggressively, unless it can be sourced.   — Jimmy Wales

If we don't have enough information to write a decent biography

we need either a redirect or a short note explaining how the person was
involved in the larger incident.   — Fred Bauder

Enough of this bullshit

I am tired of explaining, ad nauseum, to a specific group of people why WP:BLP is important. If you disagree with explicit emails drafted by Jimmy Wales, please take it up with him on your own. Burntsauce 21:22, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Margaret Simey

I've added a couple of references for the Margaret Simey page now, but as you'll see from my message on the talk page there, I don't feel competent to do a full article on this important social activist. I have the obit for the Indy, and the article from the Abbey Compendium - although it is a privatley published item - was from an interview with Lady Simey herself. So I hope that will keep the article from being deleted, though I recognise it is still very much a stub! I have bracketed out the unreferenced tag, but if you feel it should be reinstated, I leave that to your superior judgement. Abbeybufo (talk) • (contribs) 19:55, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
