Nuacht RTÉ is an Irish language news bulletin broadcast by the public RTÉ ONE station of Ireland on weekdays, usually at 17:20 for approximately 10 minutes. It's presented mainly by Siún Nic Gearailt on weekdays, and by Brid Og Ni Bhuachalla on weekends.
The programme consists of the main news stories of the day, a brief weather forecast (from the weather department) and a teaser for that evening's Nuacht TG4, which is also produced by RTE News and Current Affairs.
The programme is followed by a brief English language news summary for the deaf. It includes subtitles in the form of a feed from the studio autocue and is narrated by a newscaster or continuity announcer.
