This is a troll-free zone.

This editor has full permission to remove, without replying, any comments he feels are likely to inflame dispute. People who are fighting the good fight here are sometimes threatened

with a trip to ArbCom. They need our support, though.   — Jimmy Wales

I can NOT emphasize this enough.

There seems to be a terrible bias among some editors that some sort of
random speculative "I heard it somewhere" pseudo information is to be
tagged with a "needs a cite" tag. Wrong. It should be removed,
aggressively, unless it can be sourced.   — Jimmy Wales

If we don't have enough information to write a decent biography

involved in the larger incident.   — Fred Bauder

Enough of this bullshit

I am tired of explaining, ad nauseum, to a specific group of people why WP:BLP is important. If you disagree with explicit emails drafted by Jimmy Wales, please take it up with him on your own. Burntsauce 21:22, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Deletion nominations

Please use a descriptive edit summary when you nominate articles for deletion. It doesn't have to be lengthy or complicated; AfD or WP:PROD would do nicely. Bonus points would be awarded if you used asterisks to really highlight such important edits (a la ****** AfD ****** or ******* WP:PROD *******). Thank you. Yes please. It really helps your fellow Wikipedians when you are a bit more descriptive as to what you do by using edit summaries. Edit summaries take you some time, but they save a lot more time to everybody else. Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:07, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
