PRESS TV is an English-language Iranian international television news channel, funded by the Iranian government through Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. The channel's website launched in late January 2007.. Test satellite transmissions were conducted in late April 2007. The planned launch date for the channel is July 2, 2007.

PRESS TV seeks to "counter the West's influence in covering news."

It has a sister channel in Arabic, Al-Alam.
