Environmental record

Eastman ranks eleventh among U.S. corporate producers of air pollution according to a study conducted by the University of Massachusetts Political Economy Research Institute. Eastman facilities in 12 U.S. states release a total of 8.9 million pounds of toxic chemicals annually into the air.. The Environmental Protection Agency has also linked Eastman to several Superfund toxic waste sites, according to the Center for Public Integrity.
