Gene Hackman
Gene Hackman (born January 30, 1930) is an American actor. He was born in San Bernardino, California. His parents divorced while he was a child and he therefore moved from one place to another until he settled finally in Illinois, where he lived with his grandmother. At 16 he left home to join the Marines, where he served 3 years as a radio operator.
Hackman is one of the really outstanding actors of our time. In over 40 years he has played most convincingly all kinds of characters, not only in cinema, but also in TV films and on stage.
Hackman's first wife was "Fay Maltese". They had 3 children, but divorced in 1986, after 30 years. In 1991, Hackman married "Betsy Arawaka". They live in Beverly Hills.
