Who is "RodHullAndEmu"?
A graduate of Manchester Polytechnic & York University (twice) who is interested in almost everything except sport (apart from underwater tennis) and Big Brother except in its Orwellian sense.
Why RodHullAndEmu?
I wanted to edit as Firethorn or its Latin name Pyracantha but they were taken. So remembering Lee & Herring's "Fist of Fun" and that Rod Hull himself is conveniently, if unfortunately dead, although not Welsh, resolved to assume the identity on the basis that anybody these days is entitled to state "I'm the REAL Rod Hull".
What else?
I write for TV & radio, have published a few books (e.g The York Quiz Book (1988)) and sometime write software that does things that need doing. I have a keen sense of the ridiculous, pricking pomposity whenever I can - and there a lot of pompous pricks out there.
